Learning the guitar, whether electric or acoustic, seems to be on most people’s to-do list somewhere down the line. It is such a diverse instrument and highly satisfying even played at its simplest. It can be whipped out at a party to play your favourite songs at any moment. One of the great things about taking guitar lessons is once you have learned only three chords you can play most of your favourite songs.
What we learn in guitar lessons
We want you to become the best musician you can be and have fun along the way. To begin with, you will learn all the basics of the instrument and how to use it including simple chords and melodies of your fav songs, rock, pop, jazz, blues, and other genres. You learn how to hold the guitar, your right and left hand techniques, how music fits together and so much more.
We develop into playing and writing songs and prepping for your band practices. As we progress into more complex styles of playing we learn more chords, solos, riffs, and other parts of songs to take you on your guitar adventure.
Our guitar lessons are taught in Glasgow’s southside, in our Giffnock studio in the Maccabi Centre, G46 6LD.
